Most small business websites are totally useless.
Don’t get a website because “that’s what a business owner is supposed to do.” A website is not for looks (although, I love a good-looking website.) A website is a tool that helps you run your business.
A useful website makes it easy for people to:
Discover you when looking for someone who does what you do
Understand your offer and “why you?”
Book an appointment with you
